What it does
outdr.lol is a public leaderboard that ranks submitted websites by their Ahrefs Domain Rating (DR), both globally and within category-specific lists. Sites can be listed for a one-time $1 fee or for free by placing the site's badge on their page. The directory also tracks clicks sent to each listed site and shows recent, top DR, and rising entrants.
Use cases
- A website owner pays $1 to claim a spot on the leaderboard and earn a backlink while gaining visibility among other site builders.
- A founder lists their project for free by adding the outdr.lol badge to their site and uses the listing as a low-cost directory backlink.
- An SEO practitioner browses the leaderboard by category to benchmark their site's Domain Rating against competitors in the same niche.
- A developer or indie maker monitors the 'Rising' tab to spot fast-growing sites and track industry trends by DR momentum.
Who it is for
- Independent website owners and indie makers who want affordable directory exposure and a dofollow backlink.
- SEO practitioners looking to compare domain authority across sites in a specific category.
- Startup founders seeking early visibility and a record of their project's DR over time.
Alternatives and comparison
outdr.lol occupies a niche as a DR-specific leaderboard with a very low listing cost. General alternatives include other startup and product directories that offer backlinks and visibility, though most do not rank entries specifically by Ahrefs Domain Rating. One named alternative visible on the page is RealRank, which uses organic traffic clicks as its ranking signal instead of DR.
- RealRank
- Also listed on outdr.lol, RealRank ranks sites by verified Google Search Console organic clicks rather than Domain Rating, offering a traffic-based measure instead of a link-authority metric.
